We are looking for help in many forms here on Roleplaystories! We need people who are willing to write stories, recruit more writers, and those looking to roleplay. We also wish to create a list for some of the best roleplay and writing sites on the web and with that we will need your help building this list! It is a pleasure to make your aquaintaince and thank you for taking the time to stop by and see me. I'd just like to take a moment to tell you all a little about myself, and why I decided to start roleplaying, writing, and making websites.
I started roleplaying back in 2003 on both vampirefreaks and myspace, but I was not the greatest at it. I mean, I've always had a way with words, but I didn't understand the concept of post by post roleplaying when I started. I can say now, that I was a total god modder at the beginning. I didn't know there were specific rules to roleplays, as most of the people I roleplayed with in the beginning, never even mentioned such things. So my characters ended up having rediculous powers and concepts.
However, it didn't take me long to figure it all out and to start roleplaying more logically. Once I got the basics down, I started to venture around myspace, making a name for myself. I defeated countless roleplayers, made even more friends, and started my own clans. However, when myspace decided to get rid of their groups, I noticed a bunch of people were left with nowhere to go and no one to talk to. Upon that thought, I decided to venture out and start my own sites. With my surprise, I was actually pretty good at what I did and many writers and roleplayers followed me to my new sites. We had so much fun, made so many memories, and connected with tons of new friends.
Throughout the years I continued to try to give places for people to roleplay and write, and for the most part I did a pretty good job at this. I hired staff members, we grew to an amazing size, but we met trouble along the way and had to close down eventually. I tried starting more sites, and a few did start off pretty popular, but nothing was quite like the first. None of the platforms were very good, and we lost a lot of staff members in the closures. Still, I continue to try and provide places for people to roleplay, despite all the obstacles we've been through and continue to work on my writing and roleplaying skills.
I simply enjoy webdesign, roleplaying, and making friends. What can I say?
